August

IT'S A......
We went to dinner for Grandma Marchant's birthday and we brought her a special cake.  It was half pink and blue and the frosting color inside was blue for boy or pink for girl....what will it be??

It's a BOY!!!

After dinner we went to see an awesome train  set at our Bishop's parent's house.
He made it all...it was impressive!

The Gochnour's and us.
I re-painted this headboard from our spare bedroom upstairs to move it to Boston's room.  I was so excited to have it done and to move it down.  My mom came over one day and I asked her to help me take it down....I was so mad when I realized it would not fit down the stairs, we tried everything (at least we thought we tried everything).  I thought for sure we were going to have to cut the legs to get it down and I was afraid we were going to ruin it!  I called my Dad very upset and he said he would come up the next day to see what he could do. He came without his power saw and I was so bugged because I thought for sure we would have to cut it somehow....He took a measuring tape, looked at it for a minute and started telling me what to do to help him.  Well, within 3 minutes he had it down without cutting it...who would have thought to turn it upside down...smart man and happy daughter, thanks Dad!!

Can't wait to meet baby brother!
This little boy is full of personality and energy.  He really is happy almost all of the time and wants to play and ride his bike or scouter all day inside or out!
Announcing baby BOY with the Houghton's!!

Another fun day at the Treehouse!
Playing with our cute friend Hank.
We have been without the binky for over a month...It was one REALLY long, hard night but he has been good ever since!
 Weber County Fair
We scored a free bag of ice on a hot day and we were so happy!!
Houghton Family Reunion in Bear Lake
A Blast From the Past
It was my turn to be in charge of the Houghton reunion this year.  We had it up in Bear Lake and stayed in some condos Dr Ford owns.  It turned out so fun and we loved the time we got to spend with everyone!

Tennis activity with Uncle Spencer.... This was by far the biggest hit of the weekend.  Spencer did such a good job with it and everyone had so much fun!

Prego ladies hanging out!

I LOVE seeing these two boys of mine  have moments like this!  Boston LOVES to play tennis with his Daddy!

Fun in the water!
Clarke's brought up these fun paddle boats and we had some long boards from Dr Draper that were fun and very entertaining to play on.

Standing on this board was much harder then it looked! ha We found out later that it needed more air in it and it would have been much easier to stand on.  It made for a good laugh though!

Turner and Boston

My water boy...this boy LOVES the to swim and play in the water.  When he sees pictures of this trip or when he sees his life jacket be begs to go swimming!

We celebrated our 6 year anniversary!
 Broke the pinata....

Lip Sync night!  This turned out so cute and fun...I recorded a few but not all of them!  Our theme was "A Blast From the Past".  Referring to Mom and Dad's era.  The song chosen for the lip sync had to be from the 50's!   Watching Mom and Dad was my fav!!

The Clarke's
The Vigil's
Marchant's

Houghton's
Pilarczyk's
The Cook's...Boston still loves to watch this video on my phone and sing the song.

On our way out getting raspberry shakes....Brooky and Boston.
Great weekend and memories!
Raptors game with Boyd.  This is our cute neighbor across the street.  After his wife passed away last Spring we have invited him over for dinner a few times a week and he stops by all the time to chat.  Boston loves Boyd and always wants to show him his toys or have him play tennis with him (that always makes me nervous... Boston hits the ball hard and all over the place).  We have enjoyed getting to know him better and enjoy his company at dinner.  Boyd had season tickets to the Ogden Raptor's games and invited us to go to one.  Boston loved it and still takes about the dinosaur (Raptor) there.
Playing with Grandpa Houghton
Swimming with these cute kiddos was also another highlight to Bos Man...He tells all sort of people about his fun day swimming with Will!

Dinosaur Park
GOGGLES!!  This was the cutest moment ever.  He has always been obsessed with wearing goggles when he goes swimming but hasn't ever had his own.  We went to Target  with Cassie to registrar for baby stuff and we were there forever, Boston did so good and this was his prize....his own goggles!
He went right home and tried them in the bath tub.
Wore them all night and waited at the door to show Daddy!

Daddy tried them on too!

Best night ever....he even fell asleep with them on!
First cleaning at Momma's work and he rocked it!

Helping clean Dad's teeth....

Another fun night at the Raptor's game!

Morning walks with this cute boy are my favorite.

We loved the Farmer's Market this year.  We would go every Saturday we could for the free train ride and some fresh produce.

Scored another pair of goggles!
