Ogden Marathon

One of the offices I work at, Ford and Draper Dental put together a relay team for the Ogden Marathon. I had the first leg 7 miles but my goal was to continue and do the first half. This is me at 4:25 this morning...on my way to catch the shuttle bus!

And I made it! Finishing the first half! :) I was pretty excited. It went really well. I was fine until about mile 11 and 12. The last mile was a KILLER! I was so ready to be done but I made it through! The runners that run the half start were I finished that is why it says "START" in the picture.

My cute hubby was right there when I finished! It made me so happy to have him and my mom there when I finished. I really am so grateful for such a supportive husband!!

This is Emily and me. Her leg was the 6 miles after mine. So we ran the 6 together.

My cute mom and me. Because I did the first half it was hard to come up were I finished but she came up with Spencer. I was so glad to see them.

We went back down to the finish line to wait for the rest of our team to finish and we all crossed the finish line together.

The Ford and Draper Dental crew! All so happy we made it!

Dr. Draper, Pat, Andrea, Me, Jill ( Jill does not work there, she filled in for Liz at the last min.) and Emily

Jen in the pink and grey is one of Dr. Draper's assistants she ran the full marathon! She did awesome! So we got one more group picture with her.

I asked my Dad to work the Marathon because I thought it would be fun to see him up there...but he worked the bottom half so he didn't see me run. We met up after, thanks Dad for being there. You're the best!!

My sister Misty's kids ran the Kids 1 mile at the end. They were so excited and so cute!

Over all it was a fun experience. I can say I have NO desire to run a full marathon the half was great for me, I am happy I did it and that it is over! :)
