We had a wonderful Christmas with both our families. We are so blessed and grateful for all we have...especially family! We spent Christmas Eve with my family (due to the snow). We spiced things up a bit this year and made it an ugly sweater/Christmas Eve party!
Wal Mart is where it's at for some ugly (but festive) sweaters!
My Mom and Dad switched sweaters. I could not stop laughing when I saw my Dad! WOW, looks great Dad! (that's one of my old sweaters) He won the prize for the ugliest sweater.
Tenille and John...John came in 2nd for his sweater.
Cute kiddos
Cassie and Bryce
Kristy and Misty (both their husbands still delivering packages...both UPS drivers)
Vigil kids
Clarke kids
JT's cute family
We did our annual acting out the nativity.
We had a great performance with the bells.
I did my once a year flute performance, this year it was Silent Night and Spencer sang.
Merry Christmas to Mom and Dad.
We spent Christmas Day with the Marchant's.
We missed the Marchant's annual talent show on Christmas Eve. We were both sad we missed it. Spence and Bry had put some thought and time into their performance so they did their "talent" Christmas Day when everyone got there. It was the famous Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest ( I didn't know there really was such a thing before this.) Spencer was Joey Chestnut (world champ) and Bry was Takeru Kobayashi.
Kinda made me sick (and most everyone else too, except the kids and the boys) to watch. They dipped the buns in 7up so they would go down easier...Yummy!
Total concentration...they were not messing around!
It was a close competition....Spencer ( Joey Chestnut) was the winner! And they both made it all night with out throwing up any hot dogs...way to go boys! I was the announcer, Spencer wrote me a script and had me practice before hand. Turned out great and very entertaining!
Merry Christmas!
