One year older and wiser too....

I turned the big 29 last Saturday...my last year in my 20's I better live it up!   Spencer had to work that morning so I went to my work swim party at Dr Ford's with my friends little boy Isaiah.  I love watching him, we had a really fun time. 

 I knew Spence had something planned when he got home but I was clueless on what he was going to do.  He came home and gave me a cute card that said: eat cake, enjoy every crumb. lick the plate, just in case..(then he wrote) on your  brand new.... We'll have to go to Bryce and Cassie's to find out!! :)   We drove there and went around back and I saw this box with balloons, a huge Mrs Field's cookie and 3 new lip glosses (he knows me really well). 

 I had talked for a while about getting Adirondack chairs for the side yard or a bench and getting cute colored pillows to put on it but the chairs were kinda pricey and I could not decide on what to get so I had not ordered any thing yet.  

 Well, Spence had also been looking online and found this awesome Adirondack bench.  He had his mom order it, had it shipped to his parents house, some how got it in the Honda and drove it to Cassie's...without me knowing about any of it!  I was more then excited!!

I am one lucky girl! He always is so thoughtful and always surprises me.

We went home, set up the bench, he cleaned out all the over grown plants and  trimmed back the tree.  Then he took me to Home Depot to get cute colored pillows and new wood to go around it and new bark for the back yard.  I loved it!!  I love working in the yard and I especially love working in the yard together.   It really was such a fun day!

After we got done in the yard, he took me to dinner then we came home and sat out on  the new bench.

The Sunday before my birthday we had cake and ice cream with the Marchant's and this past Sunday we celebrated mine and Ryan's birthdays with my family.  Misty told me Ady spent a really long time on my card, it was so cute.  She had made pop ups and had Misty get her favorite birthday song out of the primary song book and had Misty help her write it all down.  She was so happy to give it to me...I loved it!
