Time Out For Women

This past weekend all my sisters (minus BranDee who was having baby Ann)  and my cute mom went to Time Out For Women.   The theme this year was "Seek the Good".    We went last year for the first time and loved it so we decided to make it a tradition.  This year it was in Layton at the Davis Conference Center.  We got a hotel and made a little get-a-way out of it... At first I was like um, no I am not sleeping in a Hotel in LAYTON...15 min from my house... after being called the fun hater I decided to join the "FUN" out of peer pressure ha ha and it was fun!
TOFW started Friday night  with  Micheal McLean (we all know who he is) I love him, James Ferrell talked about loving others and yourself and T.C. Christensen who is the director of 17 Miracles and many other LDS films.  They were all so good and uplifting.
Spencer also teaches T.C. Tennis on Monday nights. So, my sisters and I went and met him after.

Us with T.C. ( I think he looks like Dr Phil  :) )
Us Girls on Saturday...The speakers were Chris Williams him and his family were hit by a drunk driver his  pregnant wife and 2 of his children were killed in the accident.  He talked about forgiveness..It was amazing.    Mercy River sang,  Sara Wells and Kate Jones they worte Our Best Bites Cookbook,  Julie De Azevedo Hanks who is a singer/song writer and a therapist,  D. Kelly Ogden has written a few church books and Emily Watts who is the editor for  Deseret Book and has also written a few Church books.
They are all so talented and had such great messages to share.

I had such a fun time being with my mom and sisters.  I am so grateful for them and for the influence they have on my life!

The last thing I wrote in my journal that day was: The best part of this conference was being with all five of my daughters. It doesn't get any better!! :)
