The Young Women in our ward took a trip to Sunny St George, although we did not see the sunny part of it, it was still a really fun trip. I left Thursday morning with the leaders and girls. Spencer came up later that night with the Bishop.
Here are some of the awesome ladies I serve with in Young Women's. They are so fun and I love serving with them! We stayed at Kris Hyde's house in St George! It was beautiful, so glad we got to stay there!
On Friday we went to Zion's and hiked Emerald Pool. It was 2 miles round trip. Besides the cold, snow, rain and mud haha it was fun, so pretty! I would have rather not had the snow but it really did make it so pretty! This is me and Kaitlyn before the hike.
All the girls waiting for our bus to start the hike.
Spence and me:) I was so happy he was able to come up with us!
The leaders and the Bishop! Can you tell it was a little chilly?!
The lower water fall...
A view from the top of the lower falls on our way up to the upper falls.
The upper falls
Cactus's covered in snow! Seriously ready for NO more snow!
The whole group after the hike (minus Spence, he was taking the picture). It was such a fun time and so pretty. I would like to go back without the snow. There were parts that were SO muddy you had to walk careful not to fall. Our feet were wet and slushy but we were all still smiling and soaking wet at the end. :) On Saturday when we were leaving the sun was up and it was suppose to clear up for the rest of the week! Just our luck! But even with the rain and snow, it was still super fun!
