10 miles down!

Yesterday's run 10.06 miles, Time 1:56:30 Calories 1,178, Mile/min 11:33 I was averaging 9:30 a mile for a while then I hit some hills and slowed right down. I am pretty sure this running has taken 10 years off my life, I feel old and rusty but old and rusty here I come, I am running this half and then I am never going to run again! haha :) Not really but it sure makes me feel that way! I for sure was not blessed with the "running" body but I am forcing my body and mind to think it was! So wish me luck 4 more weeks of training to go!

That's awesome!! I didn't realize you were running the half--I thought you were doing the relay. Good for you! Do you have any time goals, or are you just hoping to finish it? Be careful--after I ran my first half last June I all but swore I would never do it again. It's sort of addicting, though!

On another note, I am SO excited you and Spence are coming to visit. And speaking of running, you guys should really do the bolder boulder with us. It's so, so fun. There are 50,000+ runners that do it every year; I believe it's the second largest road race in the world. The atmosphere is so crazy. People wear costume, there are live bands everywhere, there are bellydancers and high school cheerleading squads, so much to see that you almost forget you are running!
