There is a first time for everything and Wednesday night was my first time canning tomatoes! My mom always canned growing up but it was time I learned how! Misty canned a bunch from her garden and had a bunch left so I canned them up! I was excited to learn how. I went over Wednesday night and we started the fun. I was surprised at how long it took. It takes 95 min for the jars to process once they boil and that's after you blanch them, take the skins off, cut them and put them in jars ... we went running while they processed! It was fun to spend some QT with Misty and learn how! She is awesome for taking all night to help me! Thanks again! :)
