Martin's Cove

My Trek Family

I had the opportunity to go to Martin's Cove with my ward last Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.. I have to say it was by far one of the best things I could have done for myself. My testimony and love for the pioneers has grown so much. It was a awesome experience. Man they had tremendous faith to go 1300 miles, I barely made it three days It was HOT and a long three days but I would not have changed it for the world, it was totally worth it. It's like I stepped away from the real world for three days and focuses on what is really important in life! It makes ya grateful for what you have. I am SO grateful for the gospel in my life.

I have always wanted to do something like that. Maybe when my kids are a little bigger we can try it as a family or something. I'm so glad you had such an incredible experience!!!

Way to go. That's a hard trek in the summer. So, I hear. The pioneer trek I went on when I was younger was up here in the mountains. THey are so spiritual. I'm glad you were able to have that experience.

So glad that you had the chance to do that! I went when I was in college, but all my family was in YW, YM and we were leaving for our family vacation from there, so I found out I HAD to go like 2 weeks before, needless to say I didn't have the best attitude and am sad about that, I totally want to go again. I'm glad that you loved it!
